I help you to identify and change strong beliefs (negative thinking patterns, expectations and personal rules) that often cause emotional distress. To help you gain perspective I work by identifying and distilling problems into smaller parts. In this way you learn the toolkit to become self aware and, as a result of our sessional work, empowered.  This is a highly successful strategy for tackling and managing multiple areas of your life. How many sessions...

After an initial assessment I would discuss the number of sessions required.  Whilst this varies, the average number of sessions for optimal outcomes usually ranges from 8 - 20.

Sessions are 50 minutes and are also available via telephone, Skype or FaceTime if you are an international client or unable to attend in person.

What to expect...

Therapy is a journey of developing self awareness to help you to tackle all sorts of behavioural, emotional and relational difficulties.  If you have never sought professional guidance before, it is normal to feel apprehensive and unsure what to expect. At our first appointment I will ask questions to understand what’s troubling you and how you are feeling. Successive sessions involve exploring your core belief systems where we make change. Results will come by practising the skills and strategies learnt into your everyday life, which we will begin together in our sessions.

Cost of therapy...

Therapy is a financial commitment. It’s an investment in yourself and your ability to become aware of self-sabotaging patterns and more capable of practicing new, more effective thoughts and behaviours.  If you’re like most people I work with, you’ve likely already invested a lot of time and energy and money into your education, your career, your home, etc. I truly believe that therapy is a continued investment in your overall wellbeing and success in life.

Self Empowerment Therapy can be seen as a short-term investment with lifelong benefits.

London (City), Liverpool Street: Longcroft House, 2-8 Victoria Avenue, Bishopsgate, London EC2M 4NS (1 minute walk from Liverpool Street station).  Fee: £125 per session.

London (West End), Oxford Street: Gosfield Street, London, W1W 6HE (7 minutes walk from Oxford Street & 8 minutes from Goodge Street).  Fee: £125 per session.

London (South West), Battersea: Ashbury Road, Battersea, SW11 5UH (12 minute walk from Clapham Junction Station or a short bus ride from Clapham Common tube station).  Fee: £100 per session.

Online therapy: I offer online therapy and consultations via telephone, Skype and FaceTime for clients across the UK and worldwide.  Please note this rate is only applicable to clients who complete the entirety of their therapy sessions online.  Fee: £100 per session.
